BACK UP C-WALLET

Backing up the wallet data is critical.

 

            It is this backup file that contains all the data from your wallet - the addresses,

            transactions and most important - the record of COINS ON HAND

 

 

      1.     A fresh backup is needed after entering and saving your passphrase

              Click FILE > BACKUP WALLET

 

 

      2.     Save wallet.dat (the backup file) to a flash drive and/or to a folder.

 

 

      3.     Email this file to yourself so you can have access to it later if need be.  

 

              (this file is a data only file, it can not be opened, so please do not try to open

              the wallet.dat)

 

 

    It is absolutely vital that members keep a copy of the wallet.dat file off your hard drive -

      either on a flash drive or by attaching it to an email you send to yourself.  

 

           This is so important that we recommend doing BOTH. 

 

 

Members who do not do this are at risk of losing all their wallet information

(addresses and COINS) and this information can not be recovered by NLA.
